Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet and greet at the international airport and transfer to hotel. Short briefing of trip. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour – B
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and head towards the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu especially UNESCO world cultural heritage sites which include Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square for the experience of beautiful fusion of religion, culture and history. These historical monuments reflect the centuries old culture, arts and architecture of Nepal which are medieval charms of Malla Dynasty. After tour, drop off to hotel and make a preparation for Manaslu trek, including permits and trekking equipments. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara (200 km, 06-07 hrs) – B
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and drive to Pokhara by Tourist bus for about 06-07 hrs through a scenic highway. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. In the evening, visit Lakeside and enjoy the beautiful scenery of tranquil Fewa lake and night life of Pokhara. Overnight at hotel, Pokhara.
Day 04 : Drive Pokhara – Phedi (30 mins) and trek to Deurali (2,100m, 04-05 hrs) – B/L/D
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Phedi for about half an hour and then start the first day of the trekking to Deurali. The trekking goes on stone paved stepping trails that passes through terraced fields, villages and forests before reaching Dhampus. After reaching Dhampus, stop for lunch. Then after, continue the trek to Deurali which is a small village beautifully located on a ridge with good views of the Annapurna South, Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre. Overnight at Tea house, Deurali.
Day 05 : Deurali – Trek to forest camp (2,520m, 05-06 hrs) – B/L/D
After breakfast, start the trek to forest camp. The trail passes through lush forest dotted with the red rhododendrons, Nepal’s national flower. The trail is very quiet until it reaches a clearing of the forest camp. Take a rest and explore the area which is also known locally as Kokar. Overnight at Tea house, Forest Camp.
Day 06 : Forest Camp – Trek to low camp (2,970m, 05-06 hrs) – B/L/D
After breakfast, start the trek to Low camp. The trail passes through dense forests admiring Nepal’s rich biodiversity and reaches low camp. From here, the mesmerizing view of Mt. Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) is observed. Explore the lifestyle of local people. Overnight at Tea house, low camp.
Day 07 : Low camp – Trek to high camp (3,540m, 03-04 hrs) – B/L/D
After breakfast, start the trek to high camp. The trek ascends uphill alongside a ridge towards Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhre. The tree lines start getting thinner and the area mostly consists of shrubs with isolated rhododendron bushes along the trail. If lucky, the Daphne pheasant (national bird of Nepal) can be spotted on the way to high camp. From here the mountain views are stunning. Overnight at Tea house, high camp.
Day 08 : High camp – Trek to upper viewpoint (4,250m) and return back to high camp (02-03 hrs) – B/L/D
Wake up early in the morning and observe the spectacular sunrise view over the Annapurna range. After breakfast, start the ascent trek to mardi himal base camp. The trek is challenging and goes along a narrow steep rocky trail. The view of the Himalayan vista from here is astonishing, Mardi Himal (5,587m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna south (7,219m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7,647m), Tent Peak (5,695m), Singhachuli (6,501m), Machapuchhre (6,993m) and others. Trek back to the high camp. Overnight at Tea house, High camp.
Day 09 : High camp – Trek to Sidhing Village (1,700m, 05-06hrs) – B/L/D
After breakfast, start the trek to Sidhing through a different route. The different route gives experience of something different and makes the trek exciting. Sidhing offers a quiet stay for trekkers as it is tucked away from busier trails. Overnight at Tea house, Sidhing.
Day 10 : Sidhing – Trek to Lumre (02-03 hrs) and drive to Pokhara (02 hrs) – B
After an early breakfast, start the trek to Lumre through a gradual descent trail. Drive to Pokhara for about 02 hours. After reaching Pokhara, transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Explore the natural and adventurous wonders of Pokhara, a beautiful Lake city, which includes boating in Phewa Lake, visit to Taal Barahi temple (small island), davis falls, Gupteshwor cave and adventurous activities like Para gliding, Ultra-light Flight and Zip Flyer on an extra cost. Overnight at hotel, Pokhara.
Day 11 : Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu (200km, 06-07 hrs) – B/D
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus retracing the same highway. Upon reaching Kathmandu, check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Enjoy the free time by shopping at souvenir shops and hanging around Thamel (tourism hub city). In the evening, Farewell dinner in a typical Nepali Restaurant with authentic nepali cuisine and cultural dance performance. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Day 12 : Departure – B
Leisure until departure. Transfer to the International airport to board the flight
1. Airport pick up and drop off service by private vehicle.
2. Welcome drinks (non-alcoholic) and farewell dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with a cultural dance show.
3. All accommodation in 3-star category hotels on B/B basis in Kathmandu and Pokhara whilst Tea house accommodation on full board basis (all meals) during the Trek.
4. All overland round transportation from Kathmandu-Pokhara by a Tourist bus whilst Private vehicle from Pokhara-Phedi and Public bus from Lumre-Pokhara.
5. Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour by private vehicle and local Tour guide.
6. All heritage monuments fees, Government and Local taxes.
7. All the necessary Trekking permit fees ( National Park + TIMS) and official service fees.
8. Highly experienced, friendly, government license holder guide and porter with salary, accommodation, food, transportation and insurance.
9. Sleeping bags, down jacket, duffel bag and trekking poles (to be returned after the trek).
10. Medical kit (carried by trek leader).
11. Arrangement of helicopter service for rescue of emergency situation which will be paid by your travel insurance company.
