Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour – B
Early morning yoga session.
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and head towards Kathmandu sightseeing tour especially UNESCO world heritage sites, which includes Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square for the experience of beautiful fusion of religion, culture and history. These heritage monuments reflect the centuries old culture, art and architecture of Nepal which are medieval charms of Malla Dynasty. After tour, drop off to hotel. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath: A holy pilgrimage site for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch the Hindu dead bodies cremated in the most unique way in the world and Hindu holy men; Sadhus having typical look of ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look around the temple.
Boudhanath: The biggest Buddhist temple in the world, a holy shrine for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit the monasteries and watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.
Swoyambhunath: The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode which is popular as Monkey Temple among tourists and also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is one of the three Durbar (royal palace) squares in Kathmandu valley, all of which are UNESCO world heritage sites. Durbar square is surrounded with spectacular artistic temples, courtyards and ancient architectural Palace which reflects the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several centuries. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, a name derived from a statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, at the entrance of the palace. This was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and now a days, the temples are being preserved as national heritage sites and the palace as museum.
Patan Durbar Square: A Medieval Royal Palace area surrounded with artistic temples, beautiful courtyards and ancient architectural Palace. Literally, known as the city of fine arts and showcases the finest example of metal and stone carving which dates back to 14th century.
Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu – Chitwan (165 km, 05-06 hrs) – B/L/D
Early morning yoga session
After breakfasts, pick up from hotel and drive to Chitwan National Park which takes around 06 hours to reach this beautiful National Park to the down south of Nepal. Chitwan national park was once the hunting ground of British and Nepalese aristocrats. Today, the animals like elephant, rhinoceros, tiger, leopard and deer are protected, not shot. The greatest thrill here is to scout for wildlife on the back of an elephant. This national park is enlisted in the UNESCO Natural heritage site.
After reaching Chitwan, check in to the hotel and rest for refreshment. In the afternoon, head towards half day jungle activities like Tharu village walk and visits to elephant breeding centre. In the evening, Tharu cultural dance performance. Tharus are indigenous people of the area who have their own language, culture and tradition. Overnight at Hotel, Chitwan.
Day 04 : Chitwan Exploration Day – B/L/D
Early morning Yoga session.
After breakfast, full day in Chitwan National Park for exciting activities like: jungle walk, elephant riding, canoeing, bird-watching etc. guided by a nature guide through all the activities giving more insights about the wildlife, flora and fauna in the national park. View of wild and aquatic life like rhinoceros, deer, bear, crocodile, and different birds can make adventurous experiences.
Day 05 : Drive Chitwan – Lumbini; Birth place of Lord Buddha (155km, 04hrs) – B/L/D
Early morning Yoga session.
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini for about 04 hours. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Lumbini is the birth place of Buddha and symbol of “Love and Peace”. In the afternoon, explore Buddhist monasteries of different countries and faith; visits to the Maya Devi temple and sacred garden.
Day 06 : Lumbini Exploration – B/L/D
Early morning Yoga session.
Lumbini exploration starts after breakfast. Visits to monasteries, sacred garden, Maya Devi temple and the vicinity. Find some time to meditate in the sacred garden under a Bodhi tree near the sacred pond of Pushkarini.
Day 07 : Drive Lumbini – Pokhara; Lake city (201 km, 08 hrs) – B
Early morning yoga session.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara for about 08 hours. The drive is scenic and thrilling which passes through green mountains, beautiful villages, terraced farmlands, forest and rivers. Enjoy and experience the mountain drive of Nepal. After reaching Pokhara, Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. In the evening, visits to Lake side to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Phewa Lake and night life of Pokhara. Overnight at hotel, Pokhara.
Day 08 : Pokhara Exploration – B
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot for about 01 hour; a beautiful hill station in Pokhara famous for Sunrise, paragliding and mountain views. A real Closed-up look of the Annapurna and Fishtail, and the unparalleled Sunrise from there makes a perfect start of day. After Sunrise, drive back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, hike up to World Peace Stupa, a nice hiking destination in Pokhara which will take around one hour to reach the top. It’s a beautiful viewpoint and a Buddhist Pilgrimage as well. Later hike down to visit Davis falls, Gupteshwor cave and Tibetan Refugee Camp. Explore some adventure activities like Paragliding, ultralight flight and Zip flyer as well on an extra cost.
Day 09 : Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu (200 km, 07hrs) – B/D
Early morning yoga session.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu which is about 07 hours long and scenic drive or fly back with an extra cost. After reaching Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. In the evening, Farewell Nepali dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with cultural dance performance. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
Day 10 : Leisure – B
Leisure day, enjoy the free time by shopping at souvenir shops or hanging around Thamel (Tourism hub).
Day 11 : Departure – B
Leisure until departure. Transfer to International airport to board the flight.
