Tamang Heritage Valley Trekking in the Langtang region is solely based on the exploration of the unique Tamang cultures and traditions. The Tamangs are very friendly by nature and make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Tamangs of the Langtang valley are mainly engaged in agriculture, weaving baskets and mats out of bamboo. Farmers raise cattle and trading is done with Kerung in Tibet.
The trek begins from Syabrubesi and passes the heartwarming Tamang villages. The local monastery and the holy Parvatikunda Lake is mysterious place full of spirituality. The trail to the Heritage valley is covered with full blooming rhododendron forests, smooth terrains, alpine fields and magnificent views of landscapes. Some of the spectacular views of high mountains like Langtang Lirung (7,245m), Ganja La Pass (5,122m) and Dorje Lakpa (6,989m) can be seen while trekking.
Day 01: Arrival in the KathmanduInternational airport and picked up by our office representative and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley and trek preparation
Day 03: Drive to SyabruGaon (1462m) and stay overnight.
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)
Day 05: Trek to Langtang (3100m)
Day 06: Trek to KyangchingGompa (3750m)
Day 07: Excursion to TserkoRi Peak (5033m) and stay overnight at KyangchingGompa
Day 08: Trek to GhoraTabela (3050m)
Day 09: Trek to Syabru (2200m)
Day 10: Trek to Sing Gompa (3300m)
Day 11: About three hours trek back to Dhunche and have Lunch. After lunch 4 hours drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Drop off at the airport and departure for selected destination.
