It is about three hours’ drive from Kathmandu along the Arniko Highway to Bhote Koshi put-in point. The drive to the put-in point also has its own highlight and excitement. The glimpse of snow-capped mountains such as Langtang and Dorje Lakpa towards the north of the country can be viewed on the way to the Bhote Koshi put-in point if the weather is favorable.

Bhotekoshi River Rafting Itinerary

After breakfast pick up from hotel and drive to the Bhote Koshi put-in point; Sukute beach in a public vehicle. It is about 3 hours’ (95 km) drive from Kathmandu. Short briefing about the rafting and safety measures. Raft for about three to four hours. Take some rest. Drive back to Kathmandu.

  • Overland round transportation Kathmandu – Bhote Koshi by Public Vehicle.
  • River Permit.
  • Necessary equipment as high quality self-bailing rafts, life jackets, helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits (only during the winter) on certain rivers, dry bag for gear,camera barrels and all safety and medical equipment.
