The Everest Panorama Trek begins from Kathmandu visiting UNESCO world cultural heritage sites next fly to Lukla, which is 30 mins long scenic flight and then to the pristine mountain landscape and colorful mountain culture in Tengboche. Tengboche is a beautiful Sherpa village on the lap of Ama Dablam is bounded by snow capped mountains. The main attraction of the village is the famous Tengboche Monastery, which houses an apparent Yeti’s scalp when the story of the Yeti in the Khumbu region is still a mystery to the world. Everest Panorama Trek also includes the hidden valley of Khumbu on the northwest of Namche Bazaar which is visited by very few tourists each year.

Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet and greet at the international airport and transfer to hotel. Short briefing of trip. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.

After breakfast, pick up from hotel and head towards the Kathmandu sightseeing tour especially UNESCO world cultural heritage sites which includes Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square for the experience of beautiful fusion of religion, culture and history. These heritage monuments reflect centuries old culture, arts and architecture of Nepal which are medieval charms of Malla Dynasty. After tour, drop off to hotel and make a preparation for Everest Panorama trek, including all trekking permits and equipment. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.

Pashupatinath: A holy pilgrimage site for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch the Hindu dead bodies  cremated in the most unique way in the world and Hindu Holy Men; Sadhus having typical look of ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look around the temple.

Boudhanath: The biggest Buddhist temple in the world, a holy shrine for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit the monasteries and watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.

Swoyambhunath:The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode popular as Monkey Temple among tourists, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.

Kathmandu Durbar SquareIt is one of the three Durbar (royal palace) squares in Kathmandu valley, all of which are UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. Durbar square is surrounded with spectacular artistic temples, courtyards and ancient architectural Palace which reflect the skills of the Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, a name derived from a statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, at the entrance of the palace. This was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and now a days, the temples are being preserved as national heritage sites and the palace as museum.

 Patan Durbar Square: A Medieval Royal Palace built on the most amazing Nepali architecture style, literally famous for fine arts and architecture. Observe the finest example of metal and stone carving which dates back to 14th century.

After breakfast, pick up from hotel and transfer to domestic Airport for the flight to Lukla which is about 30 mins long and scenic above the beautiful green and white mountains. After landing in Lukla, meet and greet with the rest of the trekking crew and start the first day of the trek to Phakding which is a fairly easy trek. The trek at first gradually descends to Cheplung Village then gradually ascends to Phakding; Sherpa community village. Overnight at hotel, Phakding.

After breakfast, start the trek to Namche Bazaar. The pleasant gradual uphill trek goes through the pine forest, national park and many villages along the Dudh Koshi River up to the Hilary suspension bridges. From this point, the trail is steep uphill and windy up to beautiful town of Namche; famously known as Namche Bazar. This is a beautiful village town of Sherpa community on the lap of mountain. Magnificent view of Kwangde peak, Kusum kangru, Mt.Everest, Nuptse wall, Lhotse and closer view of Taweche peak makes the trek joy able along the whole trail. Overnight at hotel, Namche.

This is a rest day for acclimatization, experiencing indigenous Sherpa people and Buddhist culture at Namche Bazaar. After breakfast, hike up to Everest view point for about 02 hours, a magnificent spot perched on the top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snow-capped giant mountains like Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Amadablam and many other Himalayan peaks and the valleys beneath with an interesting museum which provides all kinds of information regarding the history of the Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering history and existing information on flora and fauna of this region. Hike down to Namche and spend rest of the day exploring Namche Bazaar enjoying the local atmosphere. Overnight at hotel, Namche.

After mountain breakfast, start the trek to Tengboche. Initial part of the Trek is on a mountain flat and downhill trails to Phungi Thanga for about 03-04 hours. From there another steep Trek for about another 02-03 hours to reach the famous Tengboche.Visit an ancient Tengboche monastery where the footprint of Milarepa, a famous ancient Tibetan yogi canbw seen. Overnight at Tea house Lodge, Tengboche.

After breakfast, start the trek to Khumjung; a beautiful mountain village. This is the largest settlement of Sherpa people which provides an opportunity to explore and experience the real culture, tradition and life style of Sherpa. This village has a high school funded by Sir Edmund hillary, 1st climber of Mt. Everest, offers a magnificent view of Mt. Khumbila and Khumjung Monastery (an old monastery famous for housing the head of the Yeti). Overnight at Tea house, Khumjung.

After breakfast, start another beautiful descent trek to Monjo. Overnight at Tea house, Monjo.

After breakfast, start the trek to Lukla. Explore the mountain town; Lukla. Overnight at hotel, Lukla.

After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel and rest for refreshment. Enjoy the free time by shopping at souvenir shops or hanging around Thamel (Tourist hub city). In the evening, Farewell dinner (authentic nepali cuisine) in a typical Nepali restaurant with cultural dance performance.

Note: Please note that, flights from Lukla are sometimes delayed or cancelled due to bad weather conditions such as fog-bounds Kathmandu or stormy wind in Lukla. Be assured that, our staffs in Lukla and Kathmandu will be doing everything possible to minimize the inconvenience and your patience is anticipated.

Leisure until departure. Transfer to International airport to board the flight.
