Overview

Namche bazaar is a famous and most visited trekking spot located in the North-Eastern region of Nepal. The trekkers reach Lukla and prepare for the journey towards the difficult Himalayan region. The trek route passes through the DudhKoshi valley where the color of the flowing river is milky-white. The trail crosses some vibrant forests of blooming rhododendrons, magnolia and pine. Trekkers can interact with the friendly Sherpas along the way in the traditional villages of the region. These colorful villages with monasteries and prayer flags give the visitors a tingling sensation of spirituality.

Namche Bazaar located at an altitude of 3440m is the official center of the Khumbu region and also the main gateway to the Mt Everest. An excursion to the Syangboche provides many awesome views of world’s tallest peaks like the Mt. Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Nuptse and many more snow covered mountains.Namche bazaar is a market area and one can shop for gifts, souvenirs or some trekking equipments.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at TIA Kathmandu, Meet and greet at the international airport & Transfer to hotel. Short briefing of trip. Check in to hotel & rest for Refreshment .Overnight at Hotel, Kathmandu.

After breakfast, pick up from hotel and heads towards the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu specially UNESCO’s world heritage sites which includes Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square for the experience of beautiful influx of religion, culture and history. These heritage monuments reflect centuries old arts, architecture and culture of Nepal which are unique in world. After  tour, return back to hotel and make the preperation for Everest Base Camp trek, including all the trekking permits and  equipments. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Swoyambhunath -The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys, known as Monkey Temple is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.

Pashupatinath– A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world. Hindu Holy Men, Sadhus having typical look of ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look can be seen.

Boudhanath-The biggest Buddhist temple in the world, a site for Tibetan Buddhism. Visit the monasteries and watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.

Patan Durbar Square– A Medieval Royal Palace area, also known as the city of fine arts, observe the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.

After breakfast, pick up from hotel & transfer to domestic Airport for the flight to Lukla.Fly to Lukla by 40 minutes scenic flight above the beautiful green and white mountains. Start the first day of the trek to Phakding via the Sherpa community. Overnight at Luxury hotel, Phakding.

After breakfast, start the trek to Namche Bazaar. The pleasant gradual uphill walk goes through the pine forest, national park & many villages along the Dudh Koshi River up to the Hilary suspension bridges. From this point, the trail is steep uphill & windy up to beautiful town of Namche, famously known as Namche Bazar.This is a beautiful village town of Sherpa community in the lap of mountain. Magnificent view of Kwangde peak, Kusum kangru, Mt.Everest, Nuptse wall, Lhotse and the closer view of Taweche peak make the trek enjoyable on this way.Overnight at hotel, Namche Bazaar.

This is a rest day for acclimatization & experience of local Sherpa & Buddhist culture at Namche Bazaar. After breakfast, hike up to Everest view point for about two hours uphill, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snow-capped giant mountains like Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Amadablam and many other Himalayan peaks and the valleys way down, with an interesting museum with all kinds of information regarding the history of the Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering history and existing information on flora and fauna of this region. Hike down to Namche and spend rest of the day exploring Namche Bazaar enjoying the local atmosphere.

After breakfast, start the trek back to Lukla.Overnight at hotel, Lukla.

After breakfast, fly to Kathmandu through scenic flight over the green and snow covered mountains. Upon arrival at domestic airport in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel & rest for refreshment. In the evening, Farewell dinner with Nepali cultural dance performance.

Leisure time until departure. Transfer to the international airport to board the flight.
