Tamang Heritage Valley Trekking in the Langtang region is solely based on the exploration of the unique Tamang cultures and traditions. The Tamangs are very friendly by nature and make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Tamangs of the Langtang valley are mainly engaged in agriculture, weaving baskets and mats out of bamboo. Farmers raise cattle and trading is done with Kerung in Tibet.
The trek begins from Syabrubesi and passes the heartwarmingTamang villages. The local monastery and the holy Parvatikunda Lake is mysterious place full of spirituality. The trail to the Heritage valley is covered with full blooming rhododendron forests, smooth terrains, alpine fields and magnificent views of landscapes. Some of the spectacular views of high mountains like LangtangLirung (7245m),Ganja La Pass (5122m) and DorjeLakpa (6989m) can be seen while trekking.
